Relief can't wait.

People for Relief helps people through disaster and hardship, and stands behind the organizations that help them, all year.

Give now

Here all year.

Storms, floods and fires come in every season, and so does hardship. For more than ten years, People for Relief has helped people through the hardest weeks of their lives, and helped the organizations standing beside them.

Flood-wrecked cars piled in a muddy street after the water receded.

People

Families and neighbors getting back on their feet after a disaster or a hard turn.

A neighbor carries a cooler of water down a storm-damaged street.

Organizations

Shelters, food pantries and cleanup crews already helping in their communities.

Neighbors gathered in a circle of chairs in a community hall.

Communities

Towns pulling together and rebuilding, one street and one family at a time.

What your gift does.

The first days

Clean water, food, blankets and the basics, through the local groups already on the street.

The weeks after

Cleanup and repairs so families can get back into the place they live.

While people wait

Shelter, meals and essentials for families who can't go back yet.

Every other day

Steady help for the shelters and food pantries serving people through hard times that never make the news.

A charity you can count on.

People for Relief is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so your gift is tax-deductible. Every gift comes with a receipt by email for your records, and you can see your full giving history any time.

Questions people ask.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. People for Relief is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. You'll get a receipt by email for every gift, including each monthly gift, to keep for your records.

Do you only help after big disasters?

No. Disasters are when the most people need help at once, but hardship doesn't stop between storms. We help all year, through the organizations serving people every day.

Who actually helps people on the ground?

Local organizations that already know the community: shelters, food pantries, cleanup crews and neighborhood groups. People for Relief stands behind them so they can help more people.

How do I give?

Straight from your bank account. Choose an amount, add your bank account once, and your gift comes out on its own, monthly if you choose. No card fees, so all of your gift helps people.

How can my organization or business get involved?

Visit the partners page. Relief organizations and businesses can each apply in a few minutes.
